The UMC-1SC1T-SM is a single-mode, unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet media converter designed to extend network transmission distances. Featuring 1x 1000Base-X fiber port and 1x 10/100/1000Base-T copper port, it overcomes the 100 m copper cable distance limitation by extending the reach up to 10 km over fiber. This converter features integrated LED indicators for real-time monitoring of power and link status. Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) technology enhances network reliability and simplifies troubleshooting, helping to reduce maintenance costs. With a plug-and-play design, the converter is easy to deploy for non-technical users. It can be used either as a stand-alone unit or mounted in a 15-slot chassis, making it an ideal solution for ISP infrastructure and small office network deployments.
